KINDERGARDEN
A good world to imitate
PEDAGOGY
In the first seven years of life, the child learns to walk, talk, think and must feel part of a good world, full of wonder and imagination.
With the example of others to imitate, the child learns to grow up in the right way. Not only the gestures, but also the feelings of the people around him are absorbed, and this is how he learns the moral qualities that will be determining for his future.
The child grows up and learns through imitation; It thus becomes of absolute importance that there are teachers who move and work with sensible and imitable gestures, attentive to the rhythms of the day, the week and the seasons. This attention leads the child to live healthy habits that will accompany him in the continuation of the school path.
The will and the impulse to ‘do’, innate in every child, are developed by the teachers through the experience of many craft activities or home life, with daily gestures that are repeated rhythmically, such as care of the garden, tidying up, baking.
The play strong> takes place in a very refined environment, where natural materials such as wood or wool are privileged, with simple and essential toys so that the child’s creativity can make them live as he wishes.
Games allow children to fully express themselves, in the freedom of movement, giving space to “creating” and “transforming”, drawing on personal imagination, in relation with classmates and environment. Games are considered important social and relational experiences, where children have the opportunity to perceive themselves, in comparison with others.
Children’s strong imagination abilities are nourished every day through fairy tales telling, puppet theatre, nursery rhymes and round dances that contribute to create that serene atmosphere necessary for their growth.
THE THREE SECTIONS
Our kindergarden is organised in three sections, each with a teacher and an assistant or trainee.
